Forum: web Subject: How long does manual archive removal take?

I've sent numerous emails to (info at archive dot org) to have a website removed from the archive but never hear back and it stays on the archive.

The site has been inactive (down) for a few years (since 2009) and I no longer have the ability to add the robots.txt file to the server to do this proactively.

It's critical that this site be removed from the archives ASAP.

Thanks!

I was in the same situation; after countless emails I lost patience and contacted a lawyer.
Seems the people that run the archive believe they're above the law.
Best of luck to you.
